The characteristic lantern group of 19th Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival "Bashu Culture ,Chinese Style" was designed and produced by Chen Jun who is Deputy General Manager and Artistic Director of Zigong Legend Lantern Festival Co.Ltd.in 2013.
"Bashu Culture ,Chinese Style" was conceived and designed in June 2012, and was finalized in October 2012 after several revisions. In 2013, it was produced and exhibited at the 19th Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival.With its unique creativity and exquisite production, this lantern received a enthusiastic response once! It was applied for copyright registration in 2014.
The"Bashu Culture ,Chinese Style" lantern group was composed of "Sichuan Opera Mountain" and "Sichuan Opera Gate". The lantern group was 32 meters long, 18 meters wide, and 40 meters high. It was magnificent and vivid.As the main door lantern group of the 19th Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival, it wonderfully presented the art treasure of Sichuan opera, which was created and passed down by the Sichuan opera artists of the past generations, through lantern!This was also the first time that the Zigong Lantern Festival has combined the lantern group with the special effects of Sichuan Opera. The production of the lantern group combined silk-painting craftsmanship, color separation and three-dimensional modeling technology and new LED light sources, which outlined the fashionable and visually stunning Sichuan opera facial makeup, fully demonstrated the unique artistic charm of Sichuan opera!
