The 10-meter scroll slowly unfolded, and a magnificent Zigong Lantern Festival version of "Scroll of Pure Brightness Festival on the River" gradually appeared in front of us.The picture scroll takes the iconic lantern group of the 26th Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival and also the lantern group produced by our company-"Lighting China" as the entrance,and the leaping dragon hovering above the lantern group is magnificent.The picture scroll vividly and detailedly depicting the lifelike scenes in the production, installation and exhibition of this year's lantern festival.
The author of the picture scroll, Mr. Yang Yong, 51 years old, is a native of Zigong. He loved painting since childhood and graduated from the Printmaking Department of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts. He is currently a director of the Sichuan Artists Association, a researcher of the Sichuan Artists Association Art Creation Institute, the vice chairman and secretary-general of the Zigong Artists Association, and the chairman of the Zigong Yantan District Printmaking Association. He is currently a professor at Sichuan Film and Television Academy and is proficient in oil painting, printmaking, watercolor painting, and sculpture.With his love for the Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival, Mr. Yang Yong hand-painted the Zigong Lantern Festival version of the "Scroll of Pure Brightness Festival on the River", which is 10 meters long, and depicts the 1,000 people big scene including lantern artisans, project managers, and lantern visitors. The picture scroll depicts the busy scenes of the lantern craftsmen during the setting-out, welding, modeling, pasting, art processing and hoisting of the lantern installation and production site, as well as the scenes of tourists from all over the world watching the lanterns.
